Boats in Ghana

The ahima serves as a representation of Ghana's maritime culture. It is not only practical as a fishing vessel, it is also a visual reminder of their maritime traditions. We see the traditional folk art of Ghana in the paint colors and in the carvings that adorn the ahima.
