Videography
An underwater tour of submerged archaeological sites in Convict Bay (Video by Calvin Mires).

Underwater video is a useful tool for recording the size and nature of a site. It is also one of the best ways for communicating with the public. Unedited, a video tape is a very important part of an archive, and can be used for reference when details need re-examination, or questions emerge. When edited, good underwater video is the perfect medium to demonstrate findings to an audience. Add to this the fact that most underwater video cameras today detect features underwater that the human eye normally misses, and it is possible that the footage will show project divers things that they do not remember seeing!
